Welcome once more to the shadowed atrium of the Obsidian Tower. Behold the works of my hand… and let madness take you.
Last time we took a look at a couple of projects I was working on with my new 3D printer. I have continued down this path and brought forth more resurrected models thanks to the ability to replace missing parts. Resurrection may just be the theme this time around, because I was able to fix up a bunch of Necrons! Let's take a look at the pictures.
| The Dark Lord Resurrects his Legions |
| These guys were pretty easy to paint and I think they look great! |
| Post paint jam, the warriors were all done. |
| 500pts Done |
Basically my idea is to get all the factions I have up to a 500pt level, that way there can be some variety in the games being played. Not that very many have been played recently...
| Ripper Swarms were added to the Hive Fleet |
After painting up the last few remnants of the hive fleet that were laying around in the spray booth, I had my buddy Paul over and we played a small game of Ultramarines vs. Nids.
| Chaplain Cassius leads his men to victory. |
I also wrapped up a couple of random projects throughout the year. I found a cool thunder-fire cannon STL I had to have.
| Ka-boom |
I painted up the passengers on the land speeder storm, this thing is a bear to paint, I don't think I'll do another one...
| My wife likes that everybody has frosted tips lol |
Lastly I swapped the bases on the Grey Knights to match the Blood Raven bases. I was thinking they could act like a retinue for Gabriel like in Dawn of War 1
| Gang's all here. |
| That's about it for now, cya next time! |
